Chapter 5

Chapter 5

A Chapter by Regan :)

I felt like I........ I don't know what to feel like. "I'm going to die here." I said out loud. I kept turning round and round looking for an exit. But all I could see was a thick wall of trees. I began to hyperventilate. "I can't die here!" I said in a high pitched voice gasping for air, "I can't die here!" I tried to cry but nothing came out. I collapsed on the ground. Why did I have to die here? What did I do? I heaved and heaved until I felt sick. I threw up. I was all clammy and shaky. My heart was going a million miles per hour. Why was I going to die? Then as if I had a sudden mood swing I became angry. "I'm not going to die here!" I said angrily. I stood up quickly again. I angrily grabbed the pink backpack and zipped it open. I turned it over and shook everything out. A bunch of different stuff fell out. A swiss army knife, some peanuts in a small package, dried fruit, a water bottle that was halfway filled with water, and a small sleeping bag. "That's all," I said quietly. Tears welled up in my eyes. What was going on here. What happened? Tears slid slowly down my face. "I don't belong here." I muttered. My head was spinning with thoughts. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. The man. The folder. He vanished. I felt like I was going to be sick again. I didn't mean to see it. It wasn't my fault. I began to hyperventilate again. I stood up trying to get a hold on myself. Someone was watching me. I spun around. There he was. The man. Same trench coat, same hat, and same sunglasses. I froze. "Elizabeth Jones," The man said in a deep voice, "You have been sent here to die. You have seen too much. Too much for a human." The way he said human sent chills down my back. "Don't worry you will live for....." The man said pausing to think, "Maybe a few days. If your lucky." He laughed. I tried to say something but when my mouth opened nothing came out. He smiled slyly. "And you were smart too," He said, "Not telling your friend." Jacob. He ment Jacob. My heart was going a million miles per hour. "Why?" I asked shakily. "Saw too much," He said simply. I suddenly got angry again. "It's not my fault!" I screamed at him, "I didn't mean to see it! I was just walking by!" The man looked surprised. He regained his serious face. "Next time you should be more careful. Goodbye." The man said. "No I'm going with you!" I screamed. I lunged at him. But I fell to the ground. He was gone. Forever.
