WaitingA Poem by Regan :)A poemWhen I first laid eyes on you My heart skipped My pulse got faster I wanted to meet you My fingers itched to wave to you My mouth twitched to say hello to you My feet squirmed to walk over to you I stood sill waiting for you to notice me Waiting for you to wave to me Waiting for you to say hello to me Waiting for you to walk over to me Waiting for you to stand still waiting for me to notice you Finally our eyes met I felt like I would faint But I stood there like a statue Just waiting You took a step I took a step We repeated our actions until we could feel each others breath We circled each other It was like a delicate dance Then before I could someone swooped in and took him I never saw him again © 2011 Regan :)Reviews
