Thread Prison

Thread Prison

A Poem by kurothecat

Gently woven into a land of roses;
thorns embrace wilted wrists.

Red snakes wrap around the skin,
their venom lulls us into a deep sleep.

Switch faces with a statue.
Unknown emotions split hearts like hairs.

Chains made of thread in every crack.
Reach out, but they pull you back.

The string decides your fate.
You have no right to refuse.

Do you?
