No Time For Waiting

Plans deferred . Stop the words and put that plan into action. want to do it while being stagnant. Life is too short. Do it now.

The Bahamas, Paris, Egypt.

You told me you were going.

A decade ago

Still you are here

Going Crazy out of your mind

Are you destined to be here 

You have to get out of here

There is no time to wait. 

Envision The Buckingham Palace

Proudly being on the grounds of Africa

Walking along the Great Wall of China

You told me that you were going

But you are still here 

There is no time to wait

In a world filled with amazement.

Many good friends have passed you by

Hoping that you would say yes

Share a moment of wonder with them.

There is no time to wait.

Is your mind telling you

I am enmeshed in this place

 I have to go get out of here. 

There is no time for waiting. 

What are you waiting for.

This is a beautiful piece. The urgency to travel and explore the world is expressed nicely. My travelling days are behind me, but I once had just such an urgency to travel. Great poem.
