ThunderClappedA Poem by Being.john.sweet~The Evolution
Thunderclapped Stepping back Trying to listen Like a zombie I can hear the ocean Rushing through my veins Its an ebb and a tide At the great divide Mother crack break my spiney back And mother I am just a child In this 39 times Zippered in my skin Watching it wither While the sky is falling On the c**k A doodle do My own life Rings the gong in the distance Pause Until My cup overflows Seaweeed cresting over the folds In my slushy brain And it’s a lie It’s a lie Where I wallow in this stye Picking flowers Of thorns Pricking skin And my blood is warm I fall down Drumming the ground Stop drop and write Nick my neck Cause its stiff Let the twitch in my eye Glance off the sun And it’s a lie Lie Lie When all the great tides Crash and wont divide Justa spreading round my station My salty moat Of infestation Lappin at my feet And suddenly I feel so incredulous Thinking what’s this reason About a mad mad season Raining down on me Me head Tuck me back into bed Where I can listen to the pitter patter Din And lead me where you lie Freeing me of the worlds Eye.
