Forgive

Forgive

A Poem by behindgreeneyes65

Like a rusted dagger you plunged right through my swollen heart,
Ripped open, dripping love, i hopelessly fell apart.
Angel face with a black heart, a halo from down below,
Your deafening silence, drowned out our love, felling the final blow.
It took me months to question why, how come, and where to now,
The answers were always inside of me, needing only search, plant and plough
The hand of God himself released me from my heavy chains,
With one swift surge of love and forgiveness, I released you from my pains.
With pain gone, and new love born I shined like never before,
Looking back only once, seeing you drown sadly far from shore.

Fantastic write, I can relate completely and yes it's God and only him
that can take a terrible situation and make good of it! Reminds me of
Romans 8:28 thanks for sharing and b-blessed!
