Who Knew

Who Knew

A Poem by Daniela

Who knew that taking that step forward i was daring to fall, daring to fall into the one place i crave the most, a place of pure feelings and of all i longed for.
Who knew that in trying my best at the leap, my feet were only dangling far from defeat, far from the worst of my fears, all in retreat.
Who knew that you would climb so high, higher than you ever knew to fly, looking further than the sky i see so high, seeking me and finding more than you could find.
Who knew that in my heart, in that chamber hidden deep and well from the world of might, secretly covered with the cloth of caution and the cloak of pain, lay a vacuum that could be filled.
Who knew that the day we met, that pleasantly unforeseen but well planned out day, would mark the beginning of all that i had once never see, of this great and wonderful scene, of you and me.
