Difference in Three Years

Difference in Three Years

A Poem by beefjerky
"

changes happen, to fast... to sudden

"
Three years in my life has passed times of four
The last three I'd like to write about more...
Three years ago I wasn't small,
Three years later I ain't tall.
Three years ago I was nined,
Three yars later I left ten behind.
Three years ago I was in the third grade,
Three years later I needed special aid.
Three years ago I had short hair,
Three years later like I would care.
Three years ago I was on my own,
Three years later I wasn't alone.
Three years ago I had a brain,
Three years later it turned to grain.
Three years ago math was my best,
Three years later I failed every test.
Three years ago my closet haddent ends,
Three years later I'm outta trends.
Three years ago there was one him,
Three years later there too many of them.
Three years ago it was `06 -`07,
Three years later I'm 12 turning 11...

Man, this makes me reflect... talk about a blast to the past. Lol... I liked it. Correct me please if i'm wrong, but I think the meaning is that three years ago, everything was bright, sunny, and going great. Three years later, everything is falling apart, and you do things that you regret. Growing up sucks sometimes. But, you'll get through it. We all do :)
