embellish

embellish

A Poem by Rebecca

i embellish in the smell of
warm musk,
petals fresh from the rain
but,

lived just the same..

this edible flower,
a lone reed,
one powerful seed,
nourishes me like,
pollen does a bee
like the,

symbiotic mother and baby....

I embellish in your
velvet bloom,
consume,
your windy brush,
your fragile lust,

edible flower…
i'll take your seed with me
across the sea,
i'd plant you again,
and again,
and again,
and embellish in you,
our immortal harmony
