philosophical rain

philosophical rain

A Poem by beckyflowa

The raindrops running across the window clasping together, growing greater
Velocity
And disappear
Watching them race
Picking one
Betting it'll win
But does any one drop win?
For they all become one in the end
And gather against the rubber hold
On the car
Drip
Drop
Evaporate
And back down again without memory of the last time
To fall back onto a similar car
To repeat what had happened before
But never knowing
Because the ignorance of the race
Has
Them
Confused
