Society's Tole

I can't help but feel like we're all doomed sometimes.

This world is broken.

We've all forgotten what's right.

Only watching our own backs

while we stab everyone Else's on the way.

 

Wars are started

just because someone wants action.

We put out own as risk

while we coward in our bed.

 

This is not how it's meant to be.

We're supposed to be united,

Instead we're killing others

just because of the color of their shirt.

 

The world is broken,

Like a wounded soul.

 

Everything is becoming Grey & blurry

as we all begin to fade.

into what society wants us to be.

 

 

Have we all lost the meaning of the heart

that beats inside out chest

to pump our blood

& keep us living for another day?

 

Have we all gone mad?
