ConsumingA Poem by .::Cup^E^Cake*RaWr!*::.For My Bff In North CarolinaShe pours alcohol down her throat hoping to sober up with a whole new life.
She doesn't see it but it hurts everyone around her to see her clumsiness, To see her body decomposing as she drinks away the agony of what she calls her life.
I stand in another state, At a church that has claimed me as there own. I pray for her hoping God will here my cry. "Please help her", I say. "Please save her soul".
She doesn't see that I weep for her. I don't weep for the drinking to stop but for her to be happy enough not to feel the need to drink. © 2008 .::Cup^E^Cake*RaWr!*::.Author's Note
