Forest Girl

This is a little strange story about a girl who lives in a forest,No one knows about this girl.

She lived in a forest,

A very dark place.

She left her house years ago,

There wasn't enough space.

 

She tucked herself away,

Behind the tree in the middle.

Right there is where she sat,

Writing her riddle.

 

People walked right by her,

They didn't see,

She was standing right there,

Where she'd always be.

 

The city tore down

every single tree.

Her home was gone,

She couldn't believe it.

"How could they do something so wrong?".

 

I really don't know,

Where she is today,

But I'm pretty sure,

She's okay.

Maybe one day,

I'll see her again,

But I'll search every forest,

Until then.
