She laughs at you,

& calls you stupid,

but you don't know,

She's been struck by cupid.

 

You shove her,

She pushes you,

You need to know your her cure,

it's all the little things you do.

 

I don't think you know,

All the things you make her feel.

When you hug her she doesn't want to let go,

I'm telling you it's real.

 

I can see it in your eyes,

You feel that way too.

So don't play games,

Always stay true.

 

You never know what'll happen,

So be aware,

That hearts get broken,

If someone really cares.

 

Love with all your heart.

Even though you might get hurt.

Don't make her fall apart,

Don't treat her like dirt.

The confusion -

your stanza,

That cought me....I've considered it...but I haven't been able to say those words..

And this all adds up to the hesitation of falling again..and again..

I can tell that you really do love and care for your friends, and it's nice to see that in such an unusual form. It's not an overly mushy "you're my friend" poem, it's deep in meaning and I find that much more solid and sincere.
