TOMORROW

TOMORROW

A Poem by Beck
"

Talking with a friend across the world gave me the idea of time travel as he is a day ahead.

"

TOMORROW

In a twinkling, I can be

Far across the great wide sea

Past today and it's history

Climbing higher as I go

Holding to bands of indigo

Toward tomorrow, on I go

The wizard holds the key, I know

The hands of time, sweep swiftly by

Toward tomorrow, on I fly

Climbing higher, I must outrun

Each new dawn, before begun

Holding to his cloak, I fly

He will never let me die

Today is made of gray and black

It trys and trys to pull me back

But I hold tightly to his hand

Never to return to yesterland.

Author's Note

Beck
The idea is a friend across the world has saved someone (me) from suicide. by talking with him, I jump a day into the future, and the black today can not kill me.
