I mIssA Poem by Cat TeeMissing is so selfish
"He doesn't have much time left"
The words crackle on the phone "Are you going to go?" I've never been good at goodbyes always badbyes but by and by my irish feet leading me to a quick exit tires me "I won't tell you what to do" Throat muscles clench, as if my tear ducts actually ran up to my eyes from my stomach But they don't. "Just know that whatever you do choose will say something about you." I miss missing certain things enough I still miss my cat constantly but I miss missing love enough that I chance falling But missing is so selfish "Not everything is about you" So I won't go. Don't want to miss Don't want to be that miss who won't stop crying Because she can't deal with herself or life's sand finally seeping its last grains to the belly of the hourglass
