I Am

Discovery in a sneeze

I am the movement of sneezing

I expected myself only a millisecond

before I erupted with all that I am

A burst of emotions, thoughts, and boogers

 

I am the pause after a bout

of laughter

The time where a switch flips,

eyes twitch

and what was giggles drip into tears

 

Yet, I am also the pause

after bawling my eyes out

steady with dissonance

I propel through this unnamed

movement full on until I reach

laughter again.
