Current Dissonance

F**k all this technical bullshit

I have to edit 

to win all these prizes and contests and recognition

to keep my writing from staying half-baked

but

I just bake

to keep my sanity in my wake

but these failures flowing from my fingertips just causes uncomfortable twitching

my bold heart aches

since I am the one in a hundred who can stand up in front of the ninety nine

confident in most terms

steady speaking in all terms

but if my writing's not edited

then my raw words will stumble through my tongue and teeth

too jumbled for my messages to get across

then I might as well sit

and finally edit

because the best will come of it.
