A tear rolls down her cheek
Arguments and fighting
Every time they speak
The falling out thing
It really does her head in
Stresses her to the max
Never do they grin
They both need to relax
Jokes taken badly
Seen as accusation
End things quite sadly
Let’s please change the station
The same story every night
If we are online
We are bound to fight
I just want to resign
It doesn’t halt their love
Just slowly builds a wedge
That I’m sure they’re sick of
It just tips them over the edge
Long hard days
Tired and overworked
Hoping it’s just a phase
He continues being jerked
When will she stop
And finally feel secure?
She needs to grow up
Wish she’d hurry and mature
Her jokes just aren’t funny
But he needs to calm down
He knows that he’s her honey
No need for the constant frown
Ignorant he will turn
Overlook what she has to say
He never seems to learn
Just leaves her in dismay
She tries to communicate
Does he reply? No
Leaving her in a state
Of depression and woe
Still deaf to her call
As she cries his name
And the thing that tops it all
It’s never him to blame
Right he is a lot
Or so he likes to think
Try to say he’s not
And he’s gone within a blink
Never gives the chance
To simply sort things out
Doesn’t want to dance
He’d rather sit and pout
She can’t deal with that
Things have to be put right
All it takes is a little chat
To end a silly fight
Lay bed tonight she’ll sigh
As he is fast asleep
She loves that ******* guy
And it’s him she wants to keep
The next day surfaces
No messages on her phone
The loneliness she embraces
As she sits there on her own
Hours come and hours go
And still she sits alone
She’s at an all time low
His whereabouts unknown
Finally his name appears
At the bottom of her screen
She forgets all her fears
And hopes it will be serene
Welcomes her with the biggest smile
Ends the loneliness she felt
It makes it all worthwhile
Makes her little heart melt
She remembers why she loves him
And she wants him even more
Though their odds are pretty slim
It’s him she’ll always adore
She began this poem going mad
But now her tone has changed
Now she is no longer sad
Emotions have been exchanged
Her feelings she did process
She filled herself with cheer
She managed to de-stress
No room for another tear
So hopefully he’ll wake
In a better mood like her
A comfy little hand shake
And problems, they’ll deter
