![]() LoveA Poem by Double~CurseIt is mine to say, but yours to share, That happiness is everywhere. But no worse curse will you ever know Than one that follows where you go. What follows you all around Is never lost, always found. Happiness should incite fear For it shall take what you hold dear. Your hope, freedom, faith and trust Are what it shall take and turn to dust. You may think I speak a lie, But heed my words, or else you'll die. Listen carefully, listen to this, Or all that you love, you shall miss. Happiness drains your strength, my dear, Til all you've left is naught but fear. Fear that you will not survive. Fear that you were never alive. Fear that you were never wanted. By this fear you are always haunted. It's a fear that will make you lie. It's a fear that makes you need to die. It is fear that is the hardest to share, Because of fear we are always aware. Aware of what we have lost. Aware of happiness' cost. To keep you safe, all that you need Is to at last be finally freed. What it takes to free your soul Is love. True love. And that is all.
