monachopsis

A Poem by becauseshewrote

Everything is blooming

in this season of sunsets

and though each and every color is spread out on this canvas,

a color that stands out the most,

monachopsis.

It's a feeling that I can't describe

as though something is way too bright

something out of place,

like sun at night.

What a great word - monochopsis. the subtle and persistent feeling of being out of place. I like this little poem, especially the second stanza.
