unidentical twins

A Poem by becauseshewrote
"

we often chase things not meant to be chased

"

can the fire breathe beneath all the hatred?

if there was no hatred, would fire be fire?

if not hatred within it,

what lies in the core?

If given the chance to change itself,

would fire want to remain fire?

can the seas ever see beyond their tears?

they rise and fall,

in attempts of escape.

Different are not,

fire and water,

hatred in a way, both have bottled.

If given the chance to change itself,

would seas choose to remain seas?

drowning and burning,

do they enjoy it,

the sufferings?

can they hope?

or is it forbidden?

is it a punishment

or a lesson for those forgiven?

does the rage

block their senses

of right and wrong?

do they do it

being defensive?

Perhaps if we looked past their flaws,

they do have a purpose.
