Please Do Hurry!

Please Do Hurry!

A Poem by Shannen Teopiz
"

About pain and moving on.

"

Gave him my all

Gave him my best

Now I can’t stand tall

For I am in a test

He gave me a reason to be happy

A reason more than I’d ever sought

That’s why he meant the world to me

For I loved him a lot

The faster the love in my heart started to bloom

The slower I’m dying because of gloom

With him, I did feel safe and sound

But I realized I was just a rebound

I’m so hurt, I really am

Knowing that I have to smile using a sham

But I can no longer be a pretender

For I can’t pretend forever

Together with my process of moving on

I also need a reliable person

Of course to move on is very hard to do

If you don’t have someone to help you

To even attempt to be like him, I would never

For I don’t want anyone to suffer

And also, I’m not looking for someone

Just for me to have fun

Maybe he’s just around me

The one who can really make me happy

So whoever you may be

Please do hurry!
