Ridding of the Monsters

We make ourselves into the monsters that we are trying so hard to get rid of.

We say we despise those monsters, but we turn ourselves into one in the process of eliminating them. We comfort ourselves by saying we're doing it for justice. But aren't we the same as those monsters in the end?
