Have I gone mad?

He asked again and again

For there was something in him 

That felt out of place

But with every tock of the clock

It ticked him off

How the ruins in him

Were making themselves at home

There was only a way

To settle the pain

It was not going to be pretty

But of course, he was already insane

The battle with evil will never stop

Until he learns to anticipate the drop.

What have I become?

The ghost of my former self

Driven to this state

By what I do not know 

Something feels wrong

Deep within my soul

Though I couldn't grasp

The cause of it all

Will someone ever come 

And be my saving grace

Before I sink deeper 

Into insanity
