connection

I long for connection

don't we all?

but at times it feels too much out of my grasp

I hit a wall

slide down and unleash it all

the fear, the anger, the rejection

it's funny how i hurt my own feelings

laughable at best

my mind makes things so much bigger

that friendship feels like a test

i'm not meant to pass

no matter how hard i study

i still don't seem to understand

that i'll never fit in

But you can and will, beautifullybroken - you can. Come the end of your poem, seems you are aware of how you feel and that, dear friend - is a start to feeling part of the all around. Now is the time to free self and fly into happier moods, please. You are your own best friend.. .. or should or can be.
