Can’t you see me?
Hear me as I beat against the glass
You don’t seem to recognize my presence
It’s as if I’ve lost my essence
This girl who laughed and smiled
As bright as the stars
Now I am dim with problems
The heaviness has burdened me
I bang on the glass so hard I’m afraid it’ll break
But still there is no recognition
It’s as if I’ve gone and disappeared
As my happiness has

Can you hear me
As I scream and cry for you
You simply play in the grass
The innocence of childhood
So ignorantly blissful and sweet
You can’t hear me

tears run down my face as I sit behind the glass

The glass stained, as my finger print leave
Tiny specs that disappear
