Fairytale

A poem of every girl's fantasy..their own Fairytale. :)

I want a fairy tale I want my happily ever after.

I want a castle made of emeralds, a ballroom full of laughter.

I want a gown made of stars, and a crown bright as the sun.

I want my horse and carriage, and to meet that special one.

I want him to walk into the room and have eyes only for me.

To stare into my face entranced, as if I'm the only one he sees.

I want him to take me into his arms, or on a magic carpet ride.

To soar into the clouds, into the sparkling moonlight.

His eyes will be made of silver, and his heart made of gold.

His hair black as the pure night sky, his love for me intense and bold.

We will dance a thousand dances, and love each other forever,

He will give me my crown of diamonds and we will live happily together!

I think everyone would like their fairy tale. "To stare into my face entranced as if I'm the only one sees." did you mean the only one he sees. ? That and ride and moonlight made me stumble a little bit. Other than those this is a piece I think many people will understand and empathize with. Which is one goal in writing. At least I would like to think so. Good rhyme scheme. So overall, good write.

Jeez, just sweeps you off your feet and pretty sure I think all girls would want a guy like this. The one with no flaws, no problems. But we all know that it's not true (ha, or I do) v I think this part captures my attention. Because it sounds like love at first sight (:
