getting evicted?! I
screamed inside of myself, snatching the eviction notice off of the door of my
apartment as I still continued to read it. I continued to read the notice over
and over again as I became agitated with myself at the thought of night being
able to have a place to stay. For years I had been saving up the last of my
father’s well wishes of his will. Half to my brother and the other half to me,
with the both of us we were set to have 100,000 a share but it seemed that over
the years I had spent so much of mines that my only expense that I was owned to
now was 500 dollars. With also the following of me having secretly illegal
disability checks that I had falsely created for more income since I hadn’t
been working but it would all seem useless now since I was going to be evicted.
1 hour later I still
couldn’t come to my senses over what I would do. Where would I go? Who would I
live with? Thoughtfully thinking to myself, there was Gabby but then suddenly
quickly thinking after she had no room and no place for me with set aside from
her four children. I shook my head no.
But then secondly there was my brother Aden, we were deadly close as children
but as we got older we grew apart, sad but true we just had never reconnected
like we were as kids. And yet I tried not to think about it, after a while I
dumped myself frustratedly on my sofa with not finding any ideas come to mind.
While after my thoughts were being interrupted with the ringing of my cell
phone by the caller ID reading Jason. I rolled my eyes with not wanting to
answer, while it rung a second time then a third. I sighed heavily to myself
until it had stopped repeatedly, but then once again with yet this time me
picking the phone. “Hello.” I said
sounding a little not to enthused. “Are you busy?” he
asked sounding the total opposite of me. For a moment I paused
before speaking at all. “I can’t talk right
now. I’m not in the mood.”I said a little stressed. “Well why not?” “I just can’t talk
about it right now.” “Oh I get it it’s the
pms season, I’ll let you be.” he said jokingly while laughing also in the back
ground. “Jason stop, don’t even
go there. It’s nothing like that it’s far from it.” I spoke a little annoyed. “Well then what is it?” I paused before
speaking. “I’m getting evicted,
and I’m over here deeply stressing about where I’m gonna go and what I’m gonna
do to get out of here within three days.” Jason sighed remorsefully
on the other end of the phone. “Oh damn ma that is a
big trip.” “Yes deeply it is a trip.”
I said massages my pupils. “So what’s the deal
what are you gonna do?” “Jason the hell I know!
I’m not even- “Oh s**t, I gotta go.” “Why what for?” “Adrian just came
through the door she’s already at my head about if she catches me slippin again
I’m done for.” he almost said in a stress over the phone. I shook my head
laughing inside myself. “Oh so now you’re
suddenly trying to play the faithful card?” He hissed in his response. “Look Mia I’m just
trying to do the right thing and be a better man to my girl.” “Well it’s a little
late for that don’t you think?” I asked sarcastically. I smiled deviously while
he went without responding on the other end of the phone. “Like I said I have to
go,” he sighed heavily, “I’ll call you later.” he said hanging up his end of
the phone. I felt that in all
honesty it was obviously true that my words were right, but in all beforehand
maybe he had striked a guilt nerve. But with it all it made me feel a sudden
frustration all over again that my feelings for Jason were becoming more deeply
at hand more than expected. As if in my mind at the moment I wanted him to
myself than to be going home to some other women, just the thought of it made
me have an even more frustration inside. While yet a couple of moments that I
decided to take a nap. Waking up to the sound
of my phone ringing I recognized that it was Gabby. “Hello.” I said
speaking while lifting myself up from my lavender s***s of my bed, and begin
massaging the back side of my hair on the left side of my head. “Hey Mia were you
busy?” I shook my head. “No not exactly other
than me just waking up from a nap,” I yawned a little silently, “What’s up?” “Oh nothing, I was just
calling to say wish me luck on my court date today. Today’s the big bomb?” she
said as her voice dragged a little on the other end of the phone. “The big bomb?” “Well okay maybe not
the big bomb, but that’s just an expression of what I like to call it when they
lay it on me when they tell me rather I have ownership over my kids or not.” “Oh Gabby don’t say
that. You’re gonna win I know you are, you deserve your kids instead of that no
good Andrew so stay up and think positive. Everything’s gonna be okay. Just
remember I’m rooting for you.” “Awwww thanks Mia.” I smiled. “I told you already it’s
no problem, everything’s going to be okay.” “Thanks, and what about
you how’s everything?” “Gab I’m not even gonna
lie I can’t even begin speak on what is and what has just happened to me.” “Well is it intriguing
I mean you sound as if it’s horrible.” I nodded yes in my thoughts. “Horrible is not even
the first word for it to begin with.” “Well then what is it?”
she asked with worrisome in her voice. “I’m being evicted Gab
and to be honest it’s eating me alive inside.” I stressed. “Gosh Mia that is a
huge dump to be laid with.” “I know and it’s
becoming a lot to take in.” “So what are you gonna
do?” I sighed. “I don’t know Gab
that’s what worries me the most. And with it I’m insanely stressing about what
to do.” “Well if you need a
place to crash my home is always open.” I shook my head. “Gabby that’s really
kind of you but I can’t allow myself to put you and your children in any more
burdens that you already are.” I said as she laughed on her end. “Mia what burdens are
you talking about? You’re more than welcome to come and stay. It wouldn’t be a
hassle nor a problem.” I shook my head. “Gabby, no really I’m
fine I can manage I promise. And if anything changes I’ll let you know.” “Okay,” she said
assuringly, “I better go I wouldn’t want to be late for this court date.” “Alright well ill talk
to you later.” “Okay bye.” she said
hanging up the phone. While after hanging up
the phone from Gabby I was becoming to be back at my frustration moment of yet
question, a place of settlement. Maybe
a stroll through the beach would take my mind off of it
I thought to myself. And indeed I consisted to do so. With beginning my
slight stroll through the beach I was suttle inside to the fresh breezed air of
the ocean and yet the almost dawned sun that crept at the side of my face, and
yet I could feel the crumbled almost moist sand at my feet and between my toes.
With ahead of me I spotted a wedding party under an elegant tent. It seemed
from a far distance they were pass the clicking of the champagne glasses and
pass the acknowledgments of fare wells to the groom and bride, and were
seemingly on to cutting the cake. I sighed grinning and smiling to myself
thinking in the depths of my head maybe
they’d have a monument of their love, or maybe just maybe they’d spark on a
love so strong that not even a lustful soul could break their enchanted bond.
Or
at least in my opinion that’s how I felt about it. Once more I continued to
look out to the water of the ocean as it surfaced up to the sand and upon my
legs and feet while after a moment a was being interrupted by a slight press at
my upper shoulders, until now I turned around to see whom it was, a man holding
tray with champagne glasses filled with champagne. “Would you care for a
drink?” he asked properly, while yet I became in a confused state, “It’s from
the bride and groom. Their offering free drinks to the public, please take
one.” he assured me while I was still yet confused but I took one anyone. After me he continued
on with his offering of champagne glasses to the next set of public people he
saw walking upon the beach. While holding the glass in hand engraved the groom
and the bride’s name, Lauren&Kelvin
~ forever with love, I guess every couple had a way at
expressing their love for each other. With ending the beach
moment of going home to my yet now 2 day evicted apartment, with finding yet
four missed calls from Jason and one voicemail which had inquired to read but
instead it had never gotten read, with the inquiring of me inviting him over
for an evening of sex since at least I only had about one more night in my
lavender bed. “So have you thought
about what your gonna do?” Jason asked as we two laid under my lavender sheets
naked while he seemingly cuddled me from behind. “I don’t know,” I sighed in my mind, “I was thinking maybe I’d probably stay in a hotel for a moment. Get a room until I come up with another settlement place to call home,” I said as Jason jokingly laughed, “What? It’s the least I can think of right now. Not unless you have any better ideas,” he still laughed a little while he sighed heavily while uncuddling me from behind and reached for something in his pants pocket then recuddled me again from behind while placing something in my hands, “What’s this?” I asked curiously. I paused before answering. “That’s 50 grand. I’m
giving you ownership to this so that you can get you a new place or at least
something that you feel will hold you up until you find a permanent stay.” “I can’t take this,
this is too much Jason.” I said trying to shove the money back into his hands
while he aggressively denied it. “Just take it I want
you to have it.” “I will not.” I said as
I aimingly striked it into the palms of his hands successfully. He sighed annoyingly
while turning me over and getting on time, and began looking me straight
forward in the eyes. “I don’t care what you
say you are taking this money.” he sternly said to me while placing a soft kiss
at my lips. “And if I don’t.” I
asked a little sarcastically, while in his eyes all I could see want and yet
pleasure. “Well if you don’t, you
just don’t but at least think about it.” he said beginning to kiss again. I nodded as he threw
the money on the floor while we begin to go for round two of our sex fest. Morning came with me
finally deciding to keep the 50 grand that Jason was seemingly trying to bribe
me with, though with all of it I wasn’t going to go and buy a place to stay
with it. I had made it up in my mind that I would find my own way, without a
man’s help. Throughout the next few hours of the day I began packing my things,
packing things and collecting things that were more and most important than me.
And when I had yet packed all of clothes of all together being three duffle
bags, and my stash of 50 grand that Jason had given me I took one last look at
my evicted apartment and seemingly never looked back. Later after I ended up
logging myself into a hotel, luckily I was able to get a room since all the
rooms where full. It was a nice suite I suppose, made for two people though I
was just one person I had all that space. Seemingly settling for that this was
the last room available at a reasonable price.
While through that in a couple of hours later I found that the room
service was excellent and delighting to my taste, while finding myself in three
hours later ordering 2 dishes of ceaser salad followed by a desert of
strawberries and whip cream. But mostly all I found myself eating was the
strawberries and whip cream and a side glass of champagne. I couldn’t help but
to enjoy them as my interruptions came to a halt with the vibration buzzing
sound of my phone with Jasmine calling me with me finishing off my last
strawberry. “Hey.” “Hey Mia what’s up for
today.” “Really nothing at all
besides eating the last of these whipped strawberries from room service.” “Room service?” Come
again.” Jasmine asked a bit urgently.
I shook my head inside myself while being a
bit embarrassed to answer her. “I’m having a slight
bit of an altercation.” “What kind of
altercation?” “The kind of
altercation you can only fix with money or a job.” “And what would that
be?” asked Jasmine. “Me being evicted.” I slightly
squeaked embarrassingly in my voice. “You’re joking right?” “No I’m not, it’s true.
I’ve been evicted and I have no place to go.”TO BE CONTINUED..
