Undignified DisguiseA Poem by beautifulblade11.16.14
Strange beauty to be seen
on the outside of me, when true emotion hides behind some unfeeling, unforgiving plastic. The mirror lies, the sweet disguise veiled within reflections; drown my sorrows in red wine sliding down my throat - poisoned honey that traps the pain inside. Music sings its melodies as obedient bodies sway, guarded souls that will never truly dance but simply move to the notes with practiced flexibility. Watching from behind the mask only proves we were wearing one all along. © 2015 beautifulbladeReviews
