When the Rain CameA Poem by beautifulblade2/22/15
Life was good for us both,
watching the rain trickle down the window and sipping champagne under the stars. The waves beat down, overbearing parents to the childish beach. Footprints washed away after mere moments on the sand. When the rain and the wind came harder, and everyone said to flee, we didn't listen. We never listened. The waves rose higher -- like the Titanic, we were sinking in muddied waters; hands entwined around each other's as we shared one last glass of champagne and priceless memories. © 2015 beautifulblade |
