Maybe I don't understand Poetry,

Or how to tape the emotion inside of me,

To unlock the secrets of my soul, 

Expose the truths so the world may know,

The kind of person I really am and was

Who now hides behind this mask because

Fear of acceptance is always there 

Unable to grasp life's not kind nor fair

How unfortunate would it be

To let the world really see

Both the angles and demons that are me

And live my life truly free.
