Journey to City

Short life with short journey within that period. Half life with half courageous to pursue it. Without those skill, cannot even beat for each step. Step by step need power to fight against it.

Dark cloud covered the journey to the center of it. Blind eyes, empty belly, dirt area, poor skin is fulfilling this imperfect village. Humble, manner and cooperation are out of expectation. All practices are in accordance with attitude more than animal. Human behavior is not encouraged and discipline is useless. No ear and eyes will able to bear for it. Only want alive. Life with any ways will do. That is it.
Inside the city, people trade with their own ways by selling everything they have, including their family, especially daughter in their family. Manner could not be brought onto this village as the village only see human as animal. Their behaviors are more than an animal. Even cat still could able to take care of their child, but not this village.
Out of all family, there is one girl that really obsessed with gamble but has chance to learn attitude. She is different from another girl that has no feeling towards life. This girl is called Lei chi and she is 19 years old now. She is known as Lei lei by her neighborhood. She would like to gamble and lose everything, but not her family. It is because of the manner that she learnt through her job as housemaid.
It was ten years back when somebody from city came to their village and stayed for one month to avoid conquer during that time. This family was a kind-hearted family that has no religion but adapt well mannered. They taught Lei lei everything about life and how to sacrifice through it. Even though she worked as a poor slave in that household, but she could able to get the chance to learn cooking, carpenter, and even study Chinese medicine.
However, after one month, this family have to migrant to another place because of the colony has identified this family location and attacked that village. In one day, all things vanished and all people even suffered between life and death. There were only left few villagers that able to hide from the colony. These villagers manage to build their house back by using left materials and stayed within it for few months.
After few months, some high position people came from city and start to build some house in that village. These people were the triggered of the current village turn to be in these days. They were initially interested with the herbal medicine that Lei lei made, thus they support Lei lei by helping transfer the goods into the city and sell it.
In the first time, people in the city were really amused with the formula of the medicine that Lei lei mixed to perform the herbal medicine. However, it turned to disaster when triads from the city started to join this business and control the village.
During that age, Lei lei could not do anything because of limited power and could merely follow the instruction from those people. It is not that Lei lei did not know anything about behavior and attitude of those people. It is because of the life that Lei lei need to survive and struggle for it by disguising herself as a guy and act as non-concern people. This is one of the ways that those family said to Lei lei. Therefore, in this way, Lei lei could able to stand until 19 years old by using her own ability.
Lei lei was born without parents and lived from house to house. She was brought to her auntie that live in current village before her parents died of war attack. That is the reason why she did not have any trace about her parents as her auntie also died when the war came to her village at ten years back. However, in these few years, Lei lei could able to stay in the same household without have to leave because this household only have one grandmother and her grandson, called Fa cai. Thus, Lei lei have to take care grandmother and Fa cai that has same age as her.
In these days, Lei lei like to gamble because of the people around her is interested in gambling and that village also known as gamble village. Every time she gamble, she would bring back some money and if she loss, she would sacrifice all the leftover money and things that she have instead of her family. This is the way she earned some money that known as token to survive her life and also her family other than making herbal medicine.
In a one shiny and hot day, the village received a message that they founded Lei lei as a girl. Fortunately, in this time, Lei lei is going to forest hunt some animals and want to bring back some into the house. Before that, grandmother is the one who asked them to go for hunting. She has known that she would not be able to stay alive in longer time and asked Lei lei to hunt a kangaroo in the green forest. She also asked her grandson to accompany Lei lei to go for hunting instead of accompanying her. Both of them could not able to leave her grandmother in that condition but they have no choice not to against instruction from elder.
After going for hunting for few days, they manage to hunt the kangaroos and tried to bring back home. In a halfway to their house, they saw some papers are written down with the word “kill her” and the name of Lei Chi with it. Both of them are so shock and have figured out that their grandmother are not in that village anymore.
Lei lei tried to go back to that village but Fa cai prevent her from doing it. It is because of him do not want to lose family member anymore. Lei lei is the only close member that Fa cai have in this difficult condition. Lei lei have no choice but listen to Fa cai to go out from that village with burden heart. She really could not able to stand with her two leg if Fa cai is also not in her side. She left her memory in that village with sorrowful heart and an ache in her heart. She could not able to come back to that village anymore.
Lei lei and Fa cai then decided to start their long journey into the city and they founded a small city after one month. During the entire month, both of them struggle inside the forest and even almost get killed by fox and tiger. Because of the martial skill that have by both of them, they could able to sacrifice the long journey into this charming city.
This city is called Annyeong by the citizen. It is addressed in that word because the people in this area do not know each other at the first time and started the city after the rain covered with the sound of the frog. This two leg reptile is spread everywhere in which cause the city could be seen as green city.
In the first time, Lei lei and Fa cai get treated in different manner by the people in this city. It is seeing through the work that given to Lei lei as medicine analyst and Fa cai as guard palace. Even though it is a small city, but the people is treated well and has small palace in the middle of the city to control daily needs of the city. With these regulations, people in this city live in peaceful and treated each other as a human. No pain and no dark. Bright is starting to cheer life of Lei lei.
