Oh, to feel nothing

Numb

If I could change one thing

I would eradicate my feelings

All of them

From happiness to sadness

My whole spectrum of emotions

Gone

I would never again smile

Never again shed a tear of sorrow

Never again yearn for someone or something

Never again have to curse my wretched heart

For falling

For pumping melancholy and memories throughout my body

 

That is what I would change

To feel nothing

Forever numb
