RaindropsA Poem by So Ensnared Truth...the open window lets the rain inRaindrops I left my window open on purpose I knew the rain was coming I wanted it to come So I lay down and awaited it It seemed to take an age to arrive Then I heard it The clouds burst The downpour ensued It took a few moments before the rain hit Every drop that struck me felt like a bullet Piercing my skin I took no shelter though I lay still I lay still, for I wanted never again to rise But the rain stopped My existence persists © 2014 So Ensnared TruthAuthor's Note
