A Poem by Matthew Young

sidewalk clearance on words long remembered
in tattered faded pages pure with time

spit forth from true inspiration
their author's hand guided by angels
who never ask for any recognition
only that the words continue on
whether in LED lit glass lined bookcases
or cheap folding tables lined up on sidewalks
