satisified red

satisified red

A Poem by Amy Craig Beasley

rumble  ---

helllooooo

hellloooo

the mountains shake

and return

my calls

only crow answers

and

takes his seat with me

in these

red

rock

halls

rabiit

on a stick

and  lizard

and

a sip of the

water

purified in

the

red and blues

of the

sage brush

fire

the water

 still

smolders

with

the killing

heat

but

it

wets

my throat

Ahhh

down it

tumbles

and the shadows

slide

across

my

face

and the sun

satisfied

I like the content and the thoughts but the delivery method - well THAT is just me and preference I guess.
