forging

forging

A Poem by Amy Craig Beasley

pound pound
bling
pound pound
beat
toss
the copper into the fire
twist and turn it
till it glows and curl it to yourself
sparks
ignitable me
here
when I see your blue silversmith
smile
there
in the smoke
of the forge
