Petals In Paradise

Petals In Paradise

A Poem by volplane

Darkness outside,
but light will prevail.
Walls up like cliffs,
what does paradise entail?
Moving through orchards?
Rich utopian hills?
A streak of stray songbirds -
turning windmills.
Falling in oceans,
leaked blotches of thrill
pupils dilate as you move in for the kill.

Tumbling down Spring on your heavenly cloud
all that i'm saying, I am saying it out loud;
Tree tops, three weak drops
into fresh water
certain in that earthian universal daughter.

Wax melts onto colder things
that my heart may house bolder kings
a lost soul, with ghosts to hold my hand
a marching rhythm with a soundless band
an urban oasis in a cluttered town
a mysterious creature with a broken crown.
Deeper she wishes she could be
understand lifes sweet mysteries
a carpet ride away from paradise
a pretty portrait and a dimension dice.
