Where I End And You Begin

Where I End And You Begin

A Poem by Beano

I open my eyes to let you go
And hold on for a moment longer
As morning, and its forceful breath
Shears the dangling blossom off the tree.
I remember you once saying
Beauty always arrives too soon,
And that's precisely the right time.

Very nice write. Carried me in several directions. Reminded me of the longing for spring after a cold cruel winter. Beauty sadly fades. Always make the most of it while it is with you. It passes.

Beauty always arrives too soon,
And that's precisely the right time.
I like those two lines, but the whole poem is perfectly crafted.
It's beautiful!
