![]() To AubryA Poem by beancountersarTo Aubry I gazed upon your photo; Such exhilaration entered my soul I looked upon your picture; And intrigue overwhelmed me. Your auburn hair, your emerald eyes Set my heart aflame. The inviting look would melt My heart as lava flowing. What’s behind the look, That glance that captivates? I want to wrap my arms around your body and capture what cannot be held. That aura I’ve known from long ago; My memories are sparked by your beauty. As a long look down a tree-lined road Shaded by Southern summer leaves. Steve
