PiecesA Poem by beancountersarThis is a poem about how a comedy of communication errors can lead to a downfall of a love affairPieces If a memory could be painted On a backdrop of time; If a moment could be captured And cherished like gold. The colors would be carefully Blended and applied; The instant treasured and Guarded by sword. This journey through life What an insidious thing. To know that our time Here is perpetually spent. Mistakes we have made The comedy of errors; Repeat themselves until The lesson is learned. My love is tender; A precious memory now. The moments are gone, My heart mourns its departure.
