SnowA Poem by AshWhat is snow? A destructive force or a beautiful gift? It all depends on how you look at it.As gentle as a daisy in spring, As powerful as a dragon ruled by a king, Ice cold as it can tear you apart, But warm enough to truly melt your heart, The trees bow their heads down in respect, Just remember as the frigid air runs down your neck, You believe this force will harm you in the end, When in reality it just wants to be your friend, Go out there in the wind and cold, And see what you are really told, Listen as it whispers in your ear, 'It's alright. I won't hurt you. There's nothing to fear.', Smiling to yourself as you rush back inside, Say it with hope and say it with pride, Go in there and let the whole world know, I made a new friend and her name is snow!
