Toying

Toying

A Poem by David Angel M.

With you now, I am taken back to my old self.
What once was old is now anew.

A brief entanglement, brings up redundant feelings.
I should not care, and yet I do.

There is nothing good that can come of this.
Walled up in my room, wallowing in idiocy.

What should be said to these thoughts.
Something that is absurd definitely, and yet I don't
I guess I hope for a bond, that I cannot sever.

This is not what I need, and yet I will wait...for you to get back to me.
