The Language of Pain

The Language of Pain

A Poem by betty
"

This Poem was wrote on a plane on the way to my twin sister's funeral, losing a twin is like losing a part of your soul, it's a language that only a twin knows

"

So many times, so many things my heart could not reveal,

it knew not how to speak with words but only how to feel,

often times I looked inside desperately looking for,

a passage way unbound by words that would lead you to my core,

I cried aloud to my " God " above why is it so unfair?

my heart is reaching out to you an act that is so rare,

my heart and and soul it swells it in pain and yet it cries in vain,

its truth and depth denied,

look into eyes look deep into my heart a place you've never been before,

it is then you will find the language to my pain.

First of all I wanted to say thanks for posting this intimate look into your life. It's always tough losing a loved one, and I can just imagine how it feels to lose a twin.

I like this poem. I like the flow and context. I am digging that last line as well. Special! :)

I just spotted a few things with punctuation/grammar, that could probably help somebody read it a bit more easier.

Maybe you could put in quotations the question you are asking to God? I had to stop for a sec and find the question. Something you don't want your reader doing , especially with this special poem.

Also, God should be capitalized. Of course, it's up to you, but I think the majority of people would agree if we are talking about the One and Only "God."

Thanks for sharing!
