Beginnings.

They were strange things, beginnings. A whole new start to life - everything changing, all at once. A completely fresh page in the book of life.

Change…it was a scary thought. Terrifying, even. The total destruction of everything one had ever known and its morphing into something new and thrilling. Unexplored territory, if you will. An adventure into the unknown, a discovery of the future itself.

New Beginnings. Yes, that could be done. A fresh start to life, an embarkment on a journey. The first step of many to come on the road of life and…love.

Love. The most important matter of all in this ‘beginning’. The very thing that had created it, the cause of the adventure. The most wonderful, fantastic feeling in the world, lifting one soaring above the clouds to walk on air. Heart racing, blood pumping, head spinning, stomach twisting…a beautiful, passionate, wild love borne from friendship - the best kind.

With one last look in the mirror, a smile formed on her face and she turned, picked up the flowers and, as the doors opened and the music started to play, began her walk down the aisle to her own new beginning.
