No Worth

No Worth

A Poem by Nathan Betterman
"

I wrote this as I was leaving Night Chapel one evening.

"

In the entire framework of space,
To call me a speck is to overestimate my worth.
In the entire framework of time,
To call me a split-second is to overestimate my worth.
In the entire framework of history,
To call me someone special is to overestimate my worth.
And yet There is a set of eyes upon me
And a set of ears to hear my beckon, my call.
There is an open heart to love me
And open arms to comfort us all.
There is a voice which comforts and strengthens me
And words to uphold me when I fall.
Though in this world, I am of no worth,
In the heart of my Lord, He has given me value, He has given me
Worth.

Who cares what others think about our worth... If they are judging us, then that shows their true worth!
We only need his love! I like your poems, I can relate a lot to your writings.
