serendipity

serendipity

A Poem by bey

her eyes devour me
smells my open pores
tastes my prickly flesh

her presence consumes me
swallows my brain whole
digests every spoken word

her voice transforms me
melts me into
a puddle at her feet

i await her to draw me
in the palms of her hands
and drink me
