play my game

play my game

A Poem by bey
"

releasing memories

"

hey gal
come here and sit on my lap
play my game
i want to have fun
and make noise of joy

your pigtails bounce
and ribbons fly
the yellow laced knee socks
match the sun shining down
on mama's front porch swing
the day feels nice
and i feel good
playing our game
solidifying the secrets
of family love

bow your head
and listen to the
children play in the field
the yips and giggles
are for their fun
but our play is grown
better suited for gals
with a woman mind
a gal like you

we wont speak of it
dont want them jealous
of the time we have
what we have is ours
no need to share

when i call
you come running
bring your ribbon and lace
climb on my lap
head bowed
and
play my game
