then came fall

then came fall

A Poem by bey

a ball of cry
i am
icy cold
to the touch
of my once
pithy heart

direction
less
this bitterness
chokes the last
laughter i own

i cant seem
to outrun
this loss of love
my feet wont
carry me swift
i am stuck
standing
in pools of wretchedness

do you hear my screams
every orifice
agape
wide
dumping pounds of
pain
uncomfort
dis-ease

i sit still
dare not move
for fear of ache
finding another part
of me to afflict

lord
take my sight
i see apparitions
and intuitions
make me deaf and dumb
to all which
takes me back
to where i wanted to be

where is my time
free from
this
seething
hurt
